Why We Exist
A few years ago spray foam was being sold door to door across Devon as the answer to cold houses and slipping slates. Today, many of those same homes are running into trouble when they come to be sold, remortgaged or used for equity release. Lenders and surveyors want to see the roof — and the foam is in the way.
Spray Foam Removal Exeter was set up to deal with exactly that. We don’t install foam, we don’t sell insulation systems, and we don’t do general building work. We remove spray foam, and we document it.
What We Believe
Advice before work
The cheapest job is the one you didn’t need. If an inspection opening or more information will satisfy your lender or buyer, we’ll say so.
Care inside your home
Protected floors and stairs, a sealed hatch, and waste bagged in the loft before it comes down. We leave the house as we found it.
Respect for old roofs
So much of Exeter is old. We take foam off by hand and leave original timbers, laths and slates where they are.
Evidence you can use
Dated photos of every sprayed area and a short written summary, ready to pass to whoever asked.
Who We Work With
Most of our customers are homeowners. We also regularly hear from estate agents trying to keep a chain together, mortgage brokers whose client’s application has stalled, and solicitors who need evidence before completion. Whoever gets in touch, the quote and agreement are with the homeowner.
